What is the Land Judging?  Land Judging is a competition for middle and high school FFA and 4-H students. Students are introduced to soil as a basic natural resource and its differences on suitability for agriculture and non-agriculture uses, as well as, techniques for wise use and conservation practices. Knowledge of these practices, then, can be applied to real world applications.

Each county’s winning team advances to the State competition. Each year this competition’s location changes in the State of Florida. MSWCD will provide the Marion County team a stipend for travel to attend this competition. The State winner advances to Nationals in Oklahoma.
